I’ve always been somewhat of an artist, but started out a little rough (as most artists do). The part in my life where I KNEW I was an artist though, hit me while I was attending 5th grade art class (11 years old).

Pumpkin sculptures…

I just discovered pumpkin sculpting a couple weeks ago. The sculpture I fell in love with was Ray Villafane, his work is awestricking and leaves me speechless.

I’ve decided to attempt sculpting my two pumpkins tomorrow, with my girlfriend, into something that will put another mark into my art mediums. I figured if I have enough patience to complete an Etch-A-Sketch drawing, I would have the patience to sculpt a pumpkin into something different that most people won’t expect, something out of the ordinary.

EDIT: It’s pouring outside, so I can’t finish my pumpkin until after the rain calms down, which will be AFTER Halloween…

I don’t think I will finish my pumpkin sculpture…

Just a thought…

I’m going to fail in life as an artist.

My DeviantART started to fall apart…now Scribbled Childhood of mine is starting to shatter. Welcome to my insanity, you can all leave now.

*walks away in shame*

Senior year in high school…

I gave up on taking Art class in school and just stuck to my professional classes I attended weekly. The school art department “taught” everything I already knew from Abraham and self teaching myself.

I drew for some assignments I was assigned to in a couple of my academic classes and a couple drawings were finished from The Studio between August 2012 and June 2013, when I graduated high school…

So, in other words, there’s not many finished art pieces during that time frame.
